      The countries of Ireland, New Zealand, and the state of Maine in the U.S.A. have many interesting landforms. They all have rivers geysers volcanoes which flow through their country down into the ocean. All three countries have coastal areas.

       Ireland New Zealand The state of Maine, is in the Southern Hemisphere and is an decidous forest waterfall island . It has a lot of neat landforms like geysers spring volcano that bubbles hot water and mud. New Zealand has a big mountain waterfall peninsula which has fast moving water flowing down into a large pool of water. Several active mountain plateau volcanoes can be found erupting on this island country. The Atlantic and Artic Atlantic and Pacific Indian and Pacific Oceans surround New Zealand. We think it would be cool if we could visit New Zealand and see all the many cool landforms in that country.

      Ireland is in the Southern Eastern Northern Hemisphere. It has grassy mountains bogs hills . The Atlantic Ocean Pacific Ocean Indian Ocean borders the rocky coast mountains plains . There are alot of castles in Ireland. Some of these castles stones skyscrappers are now hotels and museums. One castle was haunted by a black cat and is now a tourist attraction and restaurant. The rose shamrock tulip was used by St. Patrick to teach the people of Ireland about the Holy Trinity. He used the three leaf clover to explain God's Holy Trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Beautiful hand knit sweaters come from the fine lobsters streams wool produced by the Irish sheep. The Irish Fisherman sweaters are know all over the world for their one of a kind hand made sweaters.

       The United States of America is located in the Southern Eastern Western Hemisphere. There are many different landforms throughtout the fifty states that make up this country. Maine is a state on the southern west east coast of the United States. It is the largest of the New England States. This state has Rock Mountain Appalachian Mountain Seirra Nevada Mountain range that stretch from northern Maine to Georgia. The highest peak in Maine is Mt. Katadin Mt. Cadilac Mt. Washington . Since Maine is the farthest state on the east coast, it is also where each day begins in the United State of America. The first ray of sunlight are felt on Mt. Washington Mt.Cadilac Mt. Rushmore . The state of Maine is in a region called a tundra tropical rain forest decidous forest because it has a wide variety of evergreen trees as well as boardleaf trees that can be found in the state. This state has many rivers bogs hills which are used for the production of electricity in Hydroelectric plants. The Kennebec, Penopscot, and the Androcoggin Rivers are the longest river in Maine. The city of Lewiston sits on the coast hills banks of the Androscoggin River.
