      The countries of Ireland, New Zealand, and the state of Maine in the U.S.A. have many interesting landforms. They all have which flow through their country down into the ocean. All three countries have coastal areas.

      is in the Southern Hemisphere and is an . It has a lot of neat landforms like that bubbles hot water and mud. New Zealand has a big which has fast moving water flowing down into a large pool of water. Several active can be found erupting on this island country. The Oceans surround New Zealand. We think it would be cool if we could visit New Zealand and see all the many cool landforms in that country.

      Ireland is in the Hemisphere. It has grassy . The borders the rocky . There are alot of castles in Ireland. Some of these are now hotels and museums. One castle was haunted by a black cat and is now a tourist attraction and restaurant. The was used by St. Patrick to teach the people of Ireland about the Holy Trinity. He used the three leaf clover to explain God's Holy Trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Beautiful hand knit sweaters come from the fine produced by the Irish sheep. The Irish Fisherman sweaters are know all over the world for their one of a kind hand made sweaters.

       The United States of America is located in the Hemisphere. There are many different landforms throughtout the fifty states that make up this country. Maine is a state on the coast of the United States. It is the largest of the New England States. This state has range that stretch from northern Maine to Georgia. The highest peak in Maine is . Since Maine is the farthest state on the east coast, it is also where each day begins in the United State of America. The first ray of sunlight are felt on . The state of Maine is in a region called a because it has a wide variety of evergreen trees as well as boardleaf trees that can be found in the state. This state has many which are used for the production of electricity in Hydroelectric plants. The Kennebec, Penopscot, and the Androcoggin Rivers are the longest river in Maine. The city of Lewiston sits on the of the Androscoggin River.
