Cote's Dairy

Cotes Dairy sold milk and ice cream. It was built in 1939. It was built on College Street.

They had 15 cows that gave us the milk for the ice cream and milk they made.

They had 7 trucks and one was pulled by 2 horses.

Cotes dairy had the whole family working with in the business. When they had left over milk they gave it to the next door neighbor.

Around 1989, when Oakhurst

another milk company came into

business Cotes Dairy shut down.

They shut down because Oakhurst

was taking over their work.

After Cote's Dairy shut down though the the businessof making ice-cream continued and it still is around today. The made 29 different kinds of ice-cream.
